DIY Media Console Before and After

This diy media console was a transformation I was a little nervous about. When I decided to do this project, I wasn’t sure if I could achieve the look I wanted.

One reason was that I didn’t know if the cabinet was built with quality wood. This cabinet was purchased from Costco a couple of years ago, and it was green in color; I painted it, and now this is the second transformation, hopefully, the last one.

Below is the original color and design of my media console. I liked the design but nothing else.

I absolutely love the way the media console looks. I definitely saved a lot of money by doing this project. There is something special when you look at something you created or redid; the personal touch you leave makes it even more special.

The Instagram reel I made will show the details and the process. After getting this console, I knew it was not the color I liked, so I painted it white. We had it white for a couple of years, and then I changed my mind (a couple of years later).

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you got an idea or just love seeing the transformation. Have a great day!
